5. French Country
French Country furniture is often made of striped or patterned fabric paired with metalwork and beautiful nut and fruitwood pieces with curved legs. The emphasis is on texture; the look is rustic, warm and Old World. Decorating elements reminiscent of the French countryside usually accompany this style: rooster motifs, flowers, landscape paintings, baskets, iron candleholders, ceramics, pitchers, tablecloths and pottery.
