pampered pooches

These local dogs definitely have their day and more.

Although they both start with the letter P, pooches and pampering have a lot more in common in our neck of the woods. Dog parks, dog sitters, doggy day care and a plethora of stores devoted to a pooch’s every need are commonplace. In Boulder County, it seems every dog has his or her day.

So we visited some local dog guardians to see what their pooches enjoy. We met Kylie, a well-traveled dog with her own website (www.kyliedog.com) that features postcards, photos, games, a doggy diary and more. Fiona, a diminutive Chihuahua, adores her pint-sized chair. Harley, a Great Dane, has a bed befitting his giant stature. Puppy Zoe loves to sack out on her pooch pad after a playful romp. Phoebe, a friendly pit bull, enjoys dressing up.
