Here is a list of equipment needed to create drip systems for vegetable rows and trees.

  • Mainline tubing, or supply line, which the T-Tape branches off of.
  • T-Tape, with precut and spaced holes, or emitters.
  • Fittings to direct the flow where you want it: elbows, tees and crosses.
  • Couplers to repair mainline tubing if it gets cut by mistake.
  • Hold-down stakes.
  • A 200-mesh filter to prevent emitter plugging.
  • A pressure regulator if your water pressure is high.
  • A pocket punch to make holes the T-Tape fits into.
  • “Easy Loc” fittings to connect the T-Tape to the mainline.
  • “Goof Plugs” to plug unwanted holes in the mainline.
  • “Grip Sleeve” plastic crimpers for the end of rows.

For Trees

  • Mainline tubing, or supply line, which the emitter tubing branches off of.
  • Emitter tubing that has precut holes or emitters.
  • A 200-mesh filter to prevent emitter plugging.
  • A pressure regulator if your water pressure is high.
  • A pocket punch to make holes to connect the emitter tubing to the mainline.
  • “Goof Plugs” to plug unwanted holes in the mainline.
  • Figure-8 fittings to crimp the emitter tubing and the mainline at the end of a row of trees.
