Boulder County Home & Garden News, September 2011
Get you and your new pet off to a successful (and fun!) start by working with the skilled animal training and behavior experts at the Humane Society of Boulder Valley.
All adult dogs start with Basic Manners classes to learn basic behaviors such as recall, sit and down to the more advanced “leave it”, loose-leash walking and staying with distractions. Puppies start with Puppy Kindergarten for learning about manners, parenting tips, health and handling and socialization. The Humane Society’s Puppy Socials are also a fun and exciting way for puppies to learn and practice important social skills with other dogs and people.
Sign up for classes online at www.boulderhumane.org/training. They’re offering a special for our readers to take 10% off any group training class or Basic Manners training package – use promo code GRAD2011 by 12/1/11 to redeem online.
The Training & Behavior Center is located on the second floor of the shelter at 2323 55th Street in Boulder. 303-442-4030.
